Hi, I'm Zuzana.
I create with my hands and my heart. I paint, model, embroider, sew and upcycle old things into new treasures. Each technique is a different language for me, with which I tell stories.
I find inspiration everywhere – in nature, fairy tales, myths and legends, in books, films and architecture. I love when ancient motifs meet the modern world and create something completely new.
Each of my products is unique, handcrafted with love for detail. I believe that beautiful things have the power to bring joy to everyday life.
PAINTING AND MODELING
Ceramic brooches
Among the most popular products in my work are definitely painted ceramic brooches. I make each brooch from scratch from a lump of clay, so each piece is its own original. BOOK brooches are probably the best-selling product, and it makes me very happy, as my relationship with books themselves is more than positive.

EMBROIDERY AND UPCYCLING
Textile products
I discovered that embroidery is part of the creative process, which is a very relaxing activity for me. I did my first embroideries just for myself, later I started making leather patches with embroidered texts or small pictures. Today I am switching to "needle painting", where I strive for the most detailed embroidered images. Upcycling came spontaneously alongside embroidery, and I started using sorted, unused textiles to make new unique pieces. Bags made from men's shirts are an integral part of these pieces.
PAINTING AND RENOVATION
Books
Some techniques and processes come to me in a way that I simply want to try them. I make something for myself, but during the process I get so excited about the technique that I have to continue. It was the same with painted scraps. I love books and stories and the opportunity to complete them with scenes and other stories on scraps. I try to choose books for painting that I like, but at the same time they are great classics of literature that can enchant a large group. Special books include old Slovak editions that do not have very attractive bindings, and I renovate them into brand new ones by painting directly on the canvas binding.
